Carmack Named Head Wrestling Coach

Nathan Carmack, 2006 graduate of Miamisburg High School, has been named the Head Varsity Wrestling Coach for the Vikings, pending board approval on July 20th. Carmack began his coaching career at Carlisle High School as an Assistant Wrestling Coach for 3 years, before being named Head Coach. He served as the Head Wrestling Coach for 3 seasons with the Indians and was also the Head Cross Country Coach.

Carmack wrestled under Coach Willie Wineberg throughout his high school career at MHS. He is a graduate of Limestone College in Gaffney, South Carolina. While in college, he wrestled and ran cross country. He has a Bachelors Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. He will be teaching math at MHS.  Carmack is married to Katie (Dull) Carmack, also a ’06 Miamisburg alumnus.  They have a son, Finley, who will be one in August. Carmack is excited to be back at his Alma Mater and begin his first season as Head Coach of the Vikings.
