Two members of the Miamisburg Viking Marching Band were recognized for their selection to the 2018 U.S. Army All-American Marching Band. Trey Singleton and Will Kendall were honored in a ceremony on Tuesday.

Both students have earned an all-expenses-paid trip to San Antonio to rehearse with the band in the days before the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Saturday, January 6th, 2018, which is broadcast live on NBC.

Trey plays keyboards and percussion and will be performing on the Synthesizer. He has been heavily featured in the marching band during his 5 years as part of the program.

The selection of the these students to the band marks the 7th and 8th band member that Miamisburg has sent, more than any other HS in the nation.

Congratulations Trey & Will!

In addition to the students, Miamisburg HS Band Director Steve Aylward was also selected to be a part of the Director’s Academy and will be flown down to San Antonio to participate in clinics, and attend rehearsals and the bowl game. Congratulations Steve!
