Meet Recap

The Miamisburg High School Varsity Competition Cheerleaders have had a terrific season this year. The girls recently returned from the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championships which hosts over 600 teams from over 30 different states. The Miamisburg Competition Cheer team finished second in their division only losing the title by less than 2 points. This was Miamisburg’s first return to Nationals after four years and the coaching staff could not be any more proud of their performance. This team has been performing stronger at each competition this year. These 18 girls range from freshman to seniors, and they are all hardworking, talented individuals. The girls are in the process of preparing for one of their other most competitive competitions this year which is the OASSA State Championships on March 6th in Columbus, Ohio. The Miamisburg Comp Team heads to the Regional Qualifier for State this weekend, and then will participate in the Cheer for a Cure Competition on February 21st at Centerville High School which proceeds go to support Breast Cancer. We appreciate all the continued support! GO BURG!
