Girls Junior Varsity Lacrosse, Girls Varsity Lacrosse · Tim Hecht Named Girls Head Lacrosse Coach

Coach Hecht has been named the girls Varsity Lacrosse Head Coach at Miamisburg High School, pending board approval on October 26th.  Coach Hecht was an assistant coach for the Vikings last season.  He came to the Burg with six years of experience as a head coach and assistant coach at Bishop Fenwick High School.  Coach Hecht has been active in lacrosse for over 12 years with a son and a daughter playing the sport.  Prior to coaching lacrosse, Tim coached a variety of youth programs in the Dayton area for a number of years.

The growth of the sport has been tremendous across the Dayton area and all of Ohio.  He will look to strengthen the youth program in Miamisburg which has already produced some talented players.  He will have a strong coaching staff to continue the improvements in the program at the high school level.

He has a Bachelors Degree from the University of Dayton with a Masters in Business Administration from Wright State University.  Tim is employed at Wright Patterson AFB in Logistics.  He is married to Teri (Pawlak ’81) and has two children, Joseph and Noelle.
