Vikings News · Band Performs at Disney – 6/5

The Miamisburg Viking Marching Band recently returned from a trip to Orlando, FL, and Walt Disney World, where they proudly represented Miamisburg, performing for thousands of spectators from all over the world.

The band departed Miamisburg on Tuesday, 5/28. After driving overnight, they spent Wednesday in Animal Kingdom park.

On Thursday, the band participated in a special Disney Performing Arts musical workshop entitled You’re Instrumental. The students worked with a local college professor on Disney music, with a focus on sight-reading. The experience culminated in a recording session where the band recorded the opening title scene from Frozen.
