Girls and Boys CC Teams Both Advance to Regionals

Both boys and girls ran against some tough competition at the District Championship meet at Cedarville University this past Saturday.  Both Burg teams were able to advance to the next round. The boys qualified for the Regional meet for the 6th year in a row. The girls qualified for the 5th year in a row.

Firefighter Safe Athlete of the Week – Parker Hines

Parker Hines is in his junior season and is off to a great start to the Cross Country season.  He has finished 1st on the team in 2 out of 3 meets this season.  He placed 11th out of 471 runners at our 1st meet of the season.  Parker placed 15th out of 404 runners

2016 Boys Cross Country Season

The boys cross country team had a very good season.  They finished in 2nd place at The Miamisburg Invitational, and 14th out of 36 teams at the prestige Tiffin Invitational meet.  Parker Hines, Justin Sargent, and Ryan Slaughenhaupt led the team to a 2nd place finish in the GWOC West Division and 4th place overall
